Environmental Permit Compliance

Once you've got your Bespoke Environmental Permit, there are often baseline and ongoing environmental monitoring and modelling requirements.

Monitoring and modelling may be required for planned emissions such as stack emissions to atmosphere, or consented effluent emissions to surface waters, land or groundwater. It may also be required for fugitive releases eg due to accidents or incidents, or to show that there is no impact on groundwater from current industrial processes.

TT Environmental Ltd are expert at helping sites meet Environmental Monitoring and modeling requirements, as our Contaminated Land and Permit Surrender experience makes sure that relevant information is being gatbered to a high standard and interpreted and being put into context. We can help source relevant monitoring companies to take samples (eg MCERTS stack monitoring companies), and provide interpretation and analysis of the results.

We are also qualified and insured to take certain types of environmental sample in-house for testing by UKAS and MCERTS labs (soil, water and groundwater).

Our environmental modeling expertise is used to demonstrate the environmental impact of the emissions, see our Environmental Modeling page.

We are also help sites, in particular chemical manufacturers, meet Permit Improvement Conditions to bring them into line with current best practice under the Environment Permit regime.
