REACH pre-registration update July 2008

The good news about REACH pre-registration is that the REACH-IT method for
pre-registering is currently working OK and is "quite easy to use". The bad news
about REACH-IT is that at the time of writing (early July 2008), the facility to
pre-register groups of products (instead of one at a time) is still not operational.

Deadline for liquid waste to landfill
02/10/2007
30th October 2007 is the deadline for pre-treatment of all non-hazardous waste going to landfill. It’s also the deadline by which all liquid wastes will be banned from all landfills.
Liquid wastes may include out of date raw materials or finished products, vessel washings, or failed finished product.
